Here at The Vine Fellowship, the goal of worship is God. Hebrews 11:6 says that "without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." -
As we hunger and thirst after Him, He gives us our heart's desire. And our heart's desire is to know Him. So the circle is complete. The more we seek Him, the more we find Him. The more we find Him, the more we love Him. In the musical part of the worship service at Vine Fellowship, we express our love for God with excitement and with intimacy. Sometimes we shout. Sometimes we whisper. Sometimes we sit in stunned silence before the Creator of the Universe. In those moments, the transforming resurrection power of Christ finds us as living sacrifices and fills us with His fire to fulfill His purpose for His glory. In worship, we find power in the vertical connection to live life in the horizontal. |
